I just wonder why such an obvious phrase was translated out of the text. Usually, the weird parts are complex words, like "blasphemy" being "slander" or "ridicule" or something. I could see "congregation" instead of "synagogue" but Jews and Satan are proper nouns.

My KJV I checked didn't reference the synagogue of satin in 2:1-3.
