Major upvoat! I'm all for Assange & Co but whatever it takes to bring down MSM, I'm in. Think about it, the only reason Assange even has a day job is because MSM doesn't properly do theirs. I don't like the idea of prosecuting him though; Not by a long shot.

I don't see how we lose in this scenario. If this were true, it would likely be the final step in pushing people away from the idea of MSM entirely. It's impossible for a new MSM establishment to take over during these times, simply because nobody would be left to care about them anymore.

The thing is, trump mentioned his son in law starting up a new news network to "replace fox"

So starting up a new network is on his agenda.

Given Trump senior's relation to Steve Bannon of Breitbart, it's very likely that this was and still is the case.

I just don't see how it can manage to become anything more than what Fox news is now, if they try to do this the mainstream way. Too many people distrust large news organizations at this point to build it back up.

I suspect that one method would be suing the networks or criminally prosecuting them, then having his son or some other co conspirator go in and buy them dirt cheap. They then merge them all together.

It would not be a "monopoly" because there would be "other news sources"

Nobody said conspiracies all have to be bad..
