I love it when the pop scientists and media are proven completely wrong about something they have been reciting like scripture for decades. All my life I've eaten a ton of salt. Why? Because I like salt. I don't have high blood pressure. As it says in the article, people eat as much salt as their body tells them to eat. When they are forced to eat less than their body wants, that's when the trouble starts. Listen to your body, not to scientists, who also said that saturated fat was bad for you (it isn't), that cholesteral was dangerous to eat (it isn't), and that milk, eggs and butter were bad for you (they are not).
