I had never heard of any pot / bible connection other than the "any herb bearing seed" thing. I will check this out.

One of the things you used to hear is that the pot around today is so much stronger than the weak shit the hippies had in the 60's. If that is true, the bible hippies must have had some really lame weed.

Any thoughts on that?

you'll see in the documentary that they made litlle tipis ( sweat tents ) where they poored large amounts of cannabis & cinnemon & other herbs on heated stones which resulted in huge clouds of smoke , they also made oil ... just check it out & enjoy it . :)

I found the first hour interesting and skipped through the second.

It proposes Moses as shaman, temple incense / drugs. Which seems obvious as they describe it. It then veers into to Judaism drummed out other gods than Yawah, so "drugs aren't accepted because religion".

It's a pro pot thing, but It almost argues against drug use, as it may lead to religion.

for me it made it clear that cannabis was used to get inspiration , expanding of the mind to get in touch with the divine , which led to all the stories in the bible , that this was done on a big scale by allot of people , and the ones in power didn't want any more inspiration from anyone else that could lead to "new" beliefsystems ( controle ) sort of war on consciousness. did you catch the part of king solomon who also practiced the same rituals ? ( solomon is an important figure to masons ) one cannot be against cannabis since it was here before us. from this pov the video is indeed pro cannabis.

I get the your inspiration and control points. Where are you going with mentioning the Masons?

(I'd like to see the movie they pulled the Solomon scenes from, I'll have to look into that now :)

seems to me that ALL belief systems are connected with mind expanding/ altering substances. some believe that men grew more conscious/awereness by the use of mushrooms ( psilocybine ) (check aztecs / mexico / flesh of the gods / terence mckenna / etc )
