While it is possible for dotcom to be lying, i find it unlikely that he would be THAT stupid as to make this up.

So why come forward now?

For a lot of reasons.

Assange a few weeks ago after his charges where dropped, said that he "does not forget or forgive the hell that they put him through" so it is possible that Mr Dotcom is acting on behalf of Assange for revenge purposes.

The other aspect is that the Russia narrative is falling apart, too many Americans don't care/are skeptical of the media. There is also a lot of public scrutiny on the Internet too, so it can not be swept under the rug as easily as it was in the past.

Then there is the DNC fraud lawsuit, that is in the Discover phase right now, and the last motion to dismiss has been denied. This adds a level of nasty to this that is just amazing. Now that this set rich stuff is out, the courts have no choice but to investigate if he is the source of the leaks. IF so then this destroys the DNC's defense, and also provides motive for his murder.

There is no longer a FBI director, and a new one is being looked for. If it is joe liberman, a former democrat gone independent, then this is a nightmare for the DNC, because they will not be able to scream trump meddling. This is also a guy who wants to see the dnc be "reformed"

In summary, now is a good time to drop a seth rich bombshell, and the media is in such an anti trump frenzy that the public would be open to a good murder scandal.

So now i am waiting, because one of two things will happen:

I like KDC. In the past, he's been smarter than me. He's good at what he does. I absolutely believe him, because he's been ... assisting? sniffing around? Assange for years. I am not privy to their discussions, but KDC has been aware and supportive of Assange for a long time. So this isn't meant as a criticism. But, KDC has his own difficulties (which I find specious) with the FBI. He's tweeted about this . If I wanted to ascribe self-serving motives to KDC, I'd say he's renegotiating his deal with the Federales. I'd be cynical, but KDC is as much a victim as Assange and somewhat more personable? realistic? If he can help himself through this, good. Maybe that's the timing.

I think Dotcom, Assange, Trump, and basically anyone else accosted by the Left is working in a coordinated effort to bring down the elite, and all this timing is about making the media sound like idiots. They freak out and call bullshit to weeks on end, and just as they drop the subject, more revelations. It's really kinda brilliant.

The ultimate checkmate would be a WikiLeaks dump of CNN emails.
