I wonder if it's just bullshit wording. Marijuana is a plant by itself it is just a plant. The components inside different marijuana plants have reactionary effects on the human body, some of which are medically beneficial. US gov't hold the patent on THC. Smoke it, shoot it, stick it in your butt.
