Yes, the USPTO website is very outdated.

Go here and type in the patent number, 6,506,148.

It is easier to use www.pat2pdf.org to get the .pdf file.

It is why I posted a detailed response. I have seen several posts about patents lately, and I want to make it easy for people to find what they are looking for.

I am not sure what number you searched for. I found this one. I did not watch the whole video, so I am not sure if more than one patents are mentioned.

The Patent Number is 6,506,148.

The Application Number is 09/872,528.

The Publication Number is 20020188164.

If a patent is withdrawn, then it may not show up.

If a patent is filed, but does not issue then it will never have a Patent Number. Instead, you have to search for the Publication Number or the Application Number, assuming it was published.
