I will ask him next week, but I think the process is something like this:

https://youtu.be/WDIqtGMROjM

He showed me a metal stencil he made, and he had a wiper to wipe the solder paste across it. He said that surface tension tends to move the components to the right position. I don't fully understand how it all works, but I will ask him more because I am curious to know.

Interesting. I have more of a patent and semiconductor background. I have not done much in biometrics and DNA. Sounds very cool.

My friend builds control panels for various applications, and he will make his own circuit boards because they tend to be custom and it is faster and more cost efficient if he just does it for small quantities.

I read about a criminal that was able to do it. Maybe they don't grow back after filing enough times. Im not sure, but I suggest it to undermine the system.

Someone was showing me yesterday how they use solder paste and a technique similar to screen printing to mount really small components. The capacitors look like specks of dust. It was pretty cool. Any heat would destroy the component.

Thanks, though. You just gave me an excuse for not having fingerprints. Lol.

File off your prints.
