I am a mod of some top ~100ish subreddits or two. I noticed that there are some 12 days old accounts with a couple of comments of whom oldest is 15 hours ago is urging large subs to blackout. He is kinda trying to help "research".

Then there is 3 year old account with oldest comment over a year ago, with completely nothing interesting in his profile. Only ~5 comments and he is urging subs to blackout.

Also, there are certain networks on reddit which censor anything to do with Palestine.

Just sayin.

Honestly, if you look at the timeline of the descent it seems like all the censorship is just the byproduct of corporate intrests trying to turn reddit into a "choose your own advertising" platform.

If that was actually shown to be true, I can honestly say it wouldn't surprise me. The way Pao has run things since becoming interim CEO certainly corroborates that theory, it's almost like she purposely has chosen to go against everything that reddit stood for (like freedom of speech and the community's right to choose what becomes "the front page of the internet).
