[Discussion] - is there anything suspicious about a petition on change.org asking people to pledge "Global Citizenry". Link in message. ( conspiracy )

submitted 2015-07-05T14:03 by FruityPants

Although I completely agree I want to stand against such a topic of the petition, Fight Female Genital Mutilation , I would never sign it as it's asking me to pledge something I do not wish to pledge to a corporation.

PLEDGE to be a Global Citizen

Is my conspiracy side over-reacting to this?

I pledge to stand up for women & girls worldwide by becoming a Global Citizen and joining the fight against Female Genital Mutilation.

I do not know how accountable you can be held from an on-line pledge. Would it be possible (hypothetically), say 20 years away, where laws may have been pushed that make you accountable for a "pledge" on-line with your real life alias?

"Mr @FruityPants , you must do it or face time in jail, law ac4532b states all Global citizens must perform corporate policy enforcement duties. It shows here you pledged Globularness in 2015 on change.org"
