I won't even bother posting this to that other site.

What, you don't want to be harassed and gang-raped for sharing information?

When I was an active digger, I was recruited by reddit to participate there, (as were other users). It wasnt long before reddit became more popular than digg, and digg went from a $300,000,000 asset to a $10/year domain name registration fee liability.

Id like to see something like this happen again. Lets recruit some of the most prolific users, and watch what happens...

I've tried to get people here but it's tough. We need a ton of people posting there about it continually. Doesn't help that i'm banned the second anyone figures out who i am now.

I wouldnt evangelize too much at reddit, but target top users for recruitment and send them a PM. Thats how reddit recruited me away from digg. Its the user base, stupid. (not you, but the websites who take content creators for granted and assume 250,000 lurkers will easily replace 10 key content creators.. not going to happen)
