Then start my outing all your "anonymous sources in the government".

ilovepussy

Sorry, I get pissed when I see some users attempt to Podesta a topic. (Hey, it ain't what's in the emails it's how they got stolen..durr durr durr) - It also appears that this was NOT your intent. For that, I apologize.

Here's some jumping goats for you

ApprenticeShitposter

Jews do not have the right to stay anonymous.

ilovepussy

I get your point. And I agree that families and kids should be off limits. Even if the "enemy" is attacking families and kids, as is the case with Barron Trump, we should keep to the high ground.

And thanks! I consider being called a faggot on Voat a compliment. You magnificent Croat.

vastrightwing

CNN and the CIA does not have the right to lie and subvert the citizens of the United States. The FCC should take all of CNN'S broadcast licenses away. They are violating their license to broadcast in the United States. Perhaps they are better suited to broadcast from Saudi Arabia.

ilovepussy

Because the identity doesn't matter. You are literally picking up on one minor point of OP's statement and making it the issue instead of the actual issue -That is the definition of derailment. And all this "POST PROOF herr derr derr... POST PROOF... is infantile. Grow up! Nobody gives a flying fuck if it was a 15YO kid (it wasn't) or 30YO man, or if it was muh Russians. NO ONE GIVES A SHIT! What we do give a shit about is being blackmailed by a $billion company.

ilovepussy

The actual identity of the individual or group that made the original meme, or the one that was posted by POTUS, or the one that was posted by HansAssholeSolo, or even if they were all the same has no bearing on CNN's actions. The fact that they targeted a private citizen known as HansAssholeSolo is the problem.

Who made the original meme, and the age of HasAssholeSolo are irrelevant and your attempts to derail based on these irrelevant details is transparent and childish.

DrPenguin

"According to anonymous sources, we have the right to doxx 15 year old kids for wrongthink"

Cheesebooger

Jews think if they dox someone that it will stop. All it will do is help make people openly talk about jews/corruption

LionElTrump

CNN believed it was that 15 year old and went forward with the threats, CNN mistaking the original maker is on them

TheyLie

This joke meme a dude made escalating to this level of insanity? Jesus. Considering the world is controlled by murderous lying stealing scumbag pedophile Satanists and they infected every level of society with their cancer, yes, we should have the right to stay anonymous.

ScottRockview

I wonder if they'll still be saying this when all of their personal information is published online and people are calling them on their private numbers and showing up to their homes to tell them off.

peacegnome

what about when someone makes a google maps overlay that says who they are, and what their crime against humanity was. Then when someone's having a bad day they can just turn on the overlay and go to town.

traintheAI

Like setting on fire every senile old man who ever developed paraphilias? Nice way of diverting public anger from the real problems in their communities, and the corruption continues.

peacegnome

There are already sex registries, and overlays for sex registries, and you don't hear about many old men being set on fire. I meant more the real problems, like where politicians, bankers, etc. live. Right now finding the information is difficult, and if you are a normal person then it is almost impossible.

maltespier

CNN just trying to frame the conversation to this rather than them embarrassingly going after someone all because Trump tweeted something. People can't stop reminding them why they were even going after this guy in the first place, it's a total failure from them

RageAgainstTheAmish

Woah is CNN comming out as a deep state propaganda machine? Like, they admit it?

Joe10jo

Andrew Kaczynski. Ted Kaczynski. Both making threats.

KeksMex

They are trying for victim status and it ain't gonna work. People are tired of everyone claiming to be a victim. Fuck off CNN.

monkeytoe101

They should just let this go quietly into the night but they handling it in the worst way possible.

jcal22x

This isn't what this issue is about. No one is claiming the kid had a right to stay anonymous, but according to https://www.justice.gov/crt/conspiracy-against-rights we do have protection against

...two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same;...

Andrew Kaczynski and others at CNN threatened and intimidated u/HanAssholeSolo in the free exercise of his first amendment right of freedom of speech. It's pretty straight forward.

By definition:

Threat: a declaration of an intention or determination to inflict punishment, injury, etc., in retaliation for, or conditionally upon, some action or course

Intimidate: to force into or deter from some action by inducing fear

Kaczynski claimed to have doxxed the user and intended to exposed him publicly in retaliation for making a meme. That's a threat by definition. He then used this threat to force the user to issue a public apology and stated that if any further posts were made that Kaczynski didn't like, the user's information would be released at that time. That's intimidation by definition.

Andrew Kaczynski and his co-conspirators broke the law. It's that simple.

DrPenguin

Start another post. Link it here. People need to know that laws were broken. Is he really a minor?

clamhurt_legbeard

No one is claiming the kid had a right to stay anonymous

Uh, what? I am.

We have a RIGHT to PRIVACY.

CNN's Powers on meme controversy: 'People do not have the right to stay anonymous' | TheHill

'CNN political analyst Kirsten Powers is hitting back at critics of her network's decision to warn an anonymous Reddit user he could be exposed if he resorted to "ugly behavior" on the internet again. '

'The blowback on social media against CNN resulted in #CNNBlackmail trending most of Wednesday on Twitter. '

'CNN faced considerable backlash after tracking down the creator of a video showing Trump tackling a man with a CNN logo superimposed over his head. '
