Bandwidth scarcity shapes the landscape of the Internet. Even huge websites are forced to rely on Youtube. Is this intentional? Is this why the US is so far behind the rest of the world in bandwidth? ( conspiracy )

I wonder if the government handout to ISPs to improve their broadband was actually a bribe to do the opposite. The free flow of information is the biggest danger to the liars in charge. Content-aggregation makes censorship a lot easier.
