Very interesting, I haven't been following this as closely as I'd wish to be able to know what I'm talking about but it does seem odd that Russia would be intentionally behind shooting down a commercial airliner, knowing full well the international scrutiny and sanctions it would cause. All while the situation in Ukraine has cooled down recently. Russia didn't want to rock the boat and they are only projected to have a .3% GDP growth since most of their economy is tied to oil.

It's important to think of who benefits when events such like these happen. Well another conspiracy post on here sums it up pretty well:
