There are usually other options, but they are sometimes very difficult to see. It also depends on the specific circumstances. If someone is threatening your life with force responding with force is justifiable and should not lead you or anyone to prison -- it is self defense. To respond with force to a non-forceful encounter is usually not justifiable. But then one can get into whether or not an encounter has a forceful element beneath its kinder face. The issue is certainly complicated.

I remember hearing about this on Voat a few days ago. Catch a white guy with some drugs, say you'll lock him up for 20 years...or tie his tubes and cut his sentence in half. Just another way of breeding white people our of the West's gene pool. This kind of "eugenics" is somewhat understandable where extremely violent criminals are concerned, but that is not how it is going to be used.
