It's the same reason ISIS appeared in Syria after Assad refused to leave office as President of Syria, and held an election which he won by a huge majority. And after he won, he refused to permit the Qatar-Turkey-Europe pipeline to proceed that the US had been pressuring his government to do.

And why do you think the ancestor of ISIS, Al Qaeda, went into Chechnya in Russia and started the Islamic insurgency that took years for Russia to put down . . . after the Russian government kicked out the Wall Street banks and the oligarchs who were colluding to asset-strip Russia and transferring control of Russian natural resources to American companies?

The message is clear: defy the US when it want to take advantage of your country, and all of a sudden ISIS or other Islamic fighters will mysteriously appear and start a war.
