Omen?: Big Ben's Ayrton Light swirched off for first time since WWII. ( conspiracy )

This is a weird one;

A lamp at the top of Elizabeth Tower - which is switched on in the evening whenever Parliament is sitting - is to stop shining for the first time in more than 70 years. The Ayrton Light, located above the Great Bell - known as Big Ben - needs to be fully dismantled and restored. A temporary light will replace it. Installed in 1885, it was previously turned off only during both world wars. Big Ben will not chime regularly until 2021 because of repairs to the tower.

According to what I've seen in the papers and shit its all this health and safety shit, which tbh I can understand, it's going to take 4 years to refurbish ( if that's correct term) the outside of the building and you can't fuck up all those workers ears for 4 years having a big fuck off bell chime every hour, but the PM's been on about getting it back sooner than 4 years so we'll see what happens.

I would hope that they arent going to replace it w them same thing. We have better lighting options now. Even taking into account that it is going to be new which will take a bit of work, four years? That seems like a long time.

edit, after reading the article.it doesnt seem it will be out for four years.
