If it were a Jim Crow era statue on public property, I think it's a good idea to take the statues taken down.

Statue or no-statue, my biggest concern is that now is not a stable time in America to be rioting. They already waited decades to take those statues down, why not wait a few more years for the racial tensions to dissipate (and I dono, take staues down without rioting?) All of this statue shit is just making racial tensions worse.
