If "Don't be a pussy" is an example of a comment from a solid user then the world is doomed.

I'm not going to check every single comment that breaks the subreddit rules to see if the user is being sarcastic or if they are joking. Nor can you or I determine if the user was being facetious using the context provided.

That being said, a simple /s or /jk would have sufficed. But unfortunately, there's some times hundreds of reports in the queue and I don't have the ability to research each and every user. Nor would I BEND the rules based upon that user's perceived value. If a user is indeed "solid" they rarely show up in the report queue.

But really, squashing a user? This whole interaction appears almost fabricated, and poorly at that. I wouldn't discount that to be the case as well. There's been an influx of users over the past few months who were intentionally breaking rules with the intent to argue the mods are "heavy handed" or "abusing the rules".

Those users created posts very similar to this one. I didn't know that voat has been a launching pad for this activity. I'll start paying more attention over here I guess.
