If you are anti-war and in alternative media, you've got to unhook from Google revenue and other sources, or at least diversify your ad revenue. The racist accusations against conservatives and the narrative of the left being violent seems to be a distraction and justification for censorship.

TLDR: It looks like government is preparing for yet another war by taking out media sources that are likely to become anti-war. The political polarization seems to be a distraction from this preparation.
