Theory about the Charlottesville attack ( conspiracy )

This technically isn't a conspiracy, but rather a prediction which people can assume to be malicious but I think it's just coincidental.

I believe that James Alex Fields, Jr. will be found not guilty on the key charge of 2nd Degree Murder in the lead up to the midterm elections. The lesser charges may stick but we will hear a chorus of "In Trump's America, right wing violence is legal, including murder by Nazis!" right up until the election.

2nd degree murder seems like an overcharge that will be easy to prove reasonable doubt for a handful of reasons.

1) The unpermitted ANTIFA demonstration ware directed by police in an unsafe way to proceed to block traffic and put them in direct conflict with opposition protestors.

2) James Alex Fields, Jr. (the driver) had previously been diagnosed schizophrenic and was surrounded by and being intimidated by armed ANTIFA mob prior to the incident.

3) The only death seems to be a heart attack of a woman who was not directly struck by the car.

This sounds like textbook manslaughter. They should not have charged murder under these conditions.

That was the plan. However will they stick to it?

They are starting to figure out that identity politics only work for the short term, if you win based on identity politics, you will create a counter identity.

Trump understood this, and created the counter identity of "displaced middle class", so now, any agenda that they push will piss of the new majority of "displaced middle class"

I suspect that they will bury this, and we will never hear about it again, as they fear a new awakened majority.

I don't understand why he is being charged with 2nd degree murder when Heather Heyer died of a heart attack? How can a death by natural causes be seen as a homicide?

It's been done a few times. You have to prove that but-for the inherently potentially lethal attack, the alleged victim wouldn't have had the heart attack at that time.

The problems that the state will have here is his self-defense claim, her unclean hands (since she was participating in an attack herself and wasn't an innocent bystander), and the but-for analysis that had she not been participating in an illegal protest she wouldn't be there in the first place.
