It's bullshit because anyone with any knowledge of how computers or the internet or hacking works that you'd never let a trail lead back to you.

If it was Russia, why wouldn't they just fly the hackers anywhere in the world and do it? All they needed was an internet connection, which any apartment in almost any city in the world has. Why wouldn't they just hire Chinese hackers?

It's bullshit because it would never look like Russia did it unless someone wanted it to look like Russia did it. So why would Russia want it to look like they hacked an American election? It should be a suspicion, because Russia has the most to benefit because Russia would make it look like the hack came out of an ally or a country with poor relations with the US like North Korea or Iran or anyone.
