The one unpardonable sin on Jimmy Carter's soul was the betrayal of the Shah of Iran. Carter turned his back on the Shah and allowed him to be murdered. It was contemptible. The Shah was an ally. His fall led to the horror of the Islamic regime in Iran. I will never forgive Carter for this act of cowardice.
