Just watched a body cam video that infuriated me about how stupid the cops were. When they realized that the shooting was coming from the Mandalay Bay direction, some concertgoers were trying to take down a fence so they could go take cover behind a cinder block wall. But the cops yelled at them and commanded them to run away from the cover that they themselves were using with the rationalization that where they were sending the money was 'away from the gunfire' but in fact was directly into the field of fire with nowhere to go whereas taking shelter behind the wall was the cops personal instinct and was correct.

The behavior exhibited shows that cop just doesn't have the mind to be a first responder.
