The hotel has such a means installed, or the police used some other means... to pump carbon dioxide into the room and thus suffocate Paddock. Listen to the scanner, listen shortly before the "breach"... they even said it. Look at the picture of Paddock, while I'm no medic he don't look like he just got shot, he looks like he choked. You think a man with that many guns gives up so easily, of course not... he was gassed. The government won't tell you this because it's a tactic to be used in the event of a siege or hostage situation, that's understandable of course but in the event of an attack of such magnitude we need truth, so here it is.

This in itself leads to the possibility that he's not even dead, albeit he may be severely brain damaged due to oxygen starvation.

I don't understand why he did not barricade himself inside. That is suspicious to me.

They can knock you out with directed energy weapons now. Much cleaner than gas. Also hotels have Central ventilation systems which means it is very difficult to get the correct atmosphere into a Target space.

The only reason to use gas any more is for the psychological impact. It is no longer tactically sound compared with modern means.

The USMC has crowd control microwaves mounted on Humvees that make people feel like their skin is on fire. Completely incapacitates even the most amped up aggressor and usually doesn't permanently injure them.

Now with direction they could have blanketed his room with nausea or pain inducing microwave through the walls of nearby rooms or even the floor below. (Which is what I would do)

But let's face it - even with all these toys, cops aren't that smart. Especially FBI Vegas. They are about as seedy and disgusting a police force as exists outside of DC Capital and DC Metro.
