WhyNoDonuts

Commercial insurance policies added exemptions for emp, war, nuclear blasts, and radiation damage in 2001, right after some little-known commercial structure incident in NYC.

NoRealNames

It's been going on for a little while. A year or so. But we keep adding man power to accommodate the policies and engineers to evaluate multiple locations.

monkeytoe101

this is not cause for alarm at all. INS companies are asking for all sorts of stuff these days.

Str8Dope

Why do they bother writing laws about a situation that would mean they will all be taken out of their homes and shot?

Do the bankers really think they are going to be the ones to survive the Civil War they are starting?

Some of us know who our real enemies are. I won't be targeting idiot college kids who are brainwashed - we have real targets lined up if they push the button.

albatrosv14

Okay, no boom since 1945.

Yes there were accidents, but no boom with or a without mushroom cloud. Or ''allah akbar''(pick your perceived enemy) boom . Simple as that.

I work for an energy insurance company. The type of policies we are underwriting are very fucking scary. There is a lot of money being poured into the "off chance" the NYC area is wiped out, and nationwide power plants are attacked. These aren't policies created and paid for because of precaution. They are basically a waiting game at this point. When these giant companies are throwing billions to insure this type of stuff, you pay attention. They each have a whole team of people advising them. It's very scary.

unabashed_centrist

Insurance has had this hard coded in for a long, long time. It seems reasonable to me that it should be in banking by-laws as well. Business continuity doesn't give two fucks about anyone's feefees.

JoelChaco

Yes, but given that JP Morgan has been around for forever... It's weird this wasn't done earlier.

spherical_cube

Only if you live near a big city. And the cities are all kinds of cancer these days anyway.

JesusRules

What are the kikes planing now?

Cheesebooger

Jewish false flags

twee

It does seem odd that they made this change now, as opposed to doing it during the US/Soviet cold war when we were thiiiiiiiiiiiiiis close to playing Fallout in real life.

Eleutheria

I live in a nuke-free zone, so I don't have to worry!

Pawn

This just seems like common sense policy. Have your ass covered

Clarence_13X

this + the Trump announcement ... vury scury

etzefeck

what Trump announcement?

Clarence_13X

as long as everybody has nukes, we're safe

idiotwind

I've had my own nuke since I was five.

Devious1

Ok Hillary

relevantinfoman

It reads to me more like "if some crazy nuke or whatever keeps board members from showing up to meetings, whoever does show is automatically in charge of everything." Like no more committee decisions, who ever is left is king of the company.

bdmthrfkr

That's exactly what it says and if this doesn't lead to a Nuke strike on all of the other Board members I don't know what would. They are all going to be playing "Survivor" but with Nukes and in America.

Nice.

Ina_Pickle

I am in a safe zone. Nuke away.

twee

Switzerland?

GrandNagus

"x" should make you feel "y" emotion

Everyone is doing this.

I'll decide what emotions to feel myself when I read a piece of news thank you very much!

Now fuck right off!

albatrosv14

Nope. Nukes don't actually work.

Pawn

you are an idiot.

coopzy

Is that so?

albatrosv14

Yes. It's 2017 calling, wants to know what the fuck happened last 72 years that there was no publlic nuclear incident/accident/occurence.

(2017-1945=72)

bdmthrfkr

Kek.

theoldones

all the parts are being put in place, its very clear for what

lemon11

If you mean the media blitz to stir up war and fear of wars, that's been happening hard for a whole year already. And this, which is essentially a repetition of terms already included, gives an excuse to hang more fearful news stories on. If things aren't happening the way they want, they'll just rearrange things so it looks like people expect it to happen. I'm not impressed.
