I knew Veterans who were so effected it effected their children, and probably will or would their children too. Some who's families won massive settlements, while others equally effected are just pretty much ignored.

We also got all the vets dealing with "Gulf War Syndrome" from the first Gulf War, probably Depleted Uranium had a lot to do with that.

How or why any young person doesn't look to the past before determining whether or not they're going to join the military though?

I worked with a guy that came in contact with it. He would get random spots of skin that Just pealed off his hands.
