Best i can figure on this shooting is that it is related to defense secrets. Paddock was an employee(through another company) of Lockheed Martin

from 1985-1988. During this period another company Skunk Works( of Lockheed) started deployment of F-117 nighthawk. This vehicle was an historically significant piece of stealth technology.

If this man was giving (for whatever reason) technology to others he would definitely be the target of assassins. To cover up his death they made it look like a mass shooting. And credible witnesses are being killed as well until there are no realistic leads.

This could have also been an ISIS/terrorist incident. The real terrorists get captured and Paddocks body takes their place. A conspiracy of opportunism to cover up an intelligence leak.

They would have just sent the Seals in to kill him and make it look like a suicide.

There is a reason they targeted those people at the concert, and not others. The attacker(s) did not shoot at the police or the Luxor or the people on the Strip. Only a certain group of people were targeted.
