Someone should go out there and take guesstimation measurements on the elevation of those burns on some trees and not others, should give an angle that the beam came in, and from that the source might be able to be mathematically determined.

The vast majority of houses are annihilated. There is nothing left, not foundation, no appliance bodies, no concrete steps, no porcelain toilets, nothing. However, the trees on the front lawn are untouched by the fire and the blue boxes on the side of the street are still standing straight without any fire damage. In the driveway the vehicles are burnt out with only a charred body remaining (still smoking). Remember that tree in the front lawn that is untouched? Ya, the branches with leaves/needles are directly over the vehicles but do not have any fire damage. Those blue boxes are yards away from the vehicles but no damage.

Things just don't add up to common wildfire destruction.

It sounds like some kind of plasma weaponry. One thing is certain, the damage is in nowhere near consistency of fire damage; the damage is too selective.
