Interesting that everyone is concerned with the name Jesus and not the evidence for his existence...

Pntius Pilate was an obscure figure in Israeli history. Beyond the gospels, not much is known of him. An archeological artifact from the mid 1900s bares his name and places him as a prefect in Judea around the time of the crucifixion of Yeshua the Messiah.

Spartacus was another man who was scrubbed out of the historical record as best as possible (Yeshua being the one in reference here). Spartacus lead an uprising against the Romans and was also crucified and buried in obscurity as best as possible.

the only reason more people dont understand who yeshua was and what he did on this planet for the human race is because of a millenia old coverup.

we are in the time of revelations. all will soon be revealed.

the apocalypse means the uncovering of the hidden.

we are truly in the end times people.

What I read only said that Pilate is mentioned. How does Jesus figure into this? Even as a conspiracy theory, it's a stretch.

how many christian texts mention this character in great detail having been in the region of the world he was in at the time he was there? its just proof of a coverup. the fact that we only recently discovered his historical authenticity lends credibility to a coverup of the events that occurred in israel around the years 0-40 AD.

the most interesting period in israeli history and its virtually unknown by most of the world including the christians.

his historical name was yeshua. jesus was a renaming done a few hundred years afterwards to confuse people around this story. the romans have done much to confuse the story behind the legend of yeshua son of miriam and yusef.

Jesus is above all names and never had once changed. Jesus Christ son of the Father, the Holy Trinity, one God (3 persons). Yes it's a mystery that no human mind could ever understand. The Roman Catholic Church is the real Church of Christ, is the truth and the light.

Yeah, you were proven wrong. Knock it the fuck off.

The Pilate stone is a damaged block (82 cm x 65 cm) of carved limestone with a partially intact inscription attributed to, and mentioning, Pontius Pilate, a prefect of the Roman province of Judaea from AD 26–36. It was discovered at the archaeological site of Caesarea Maritima in 1961. The artifact is particularly significant because it is an archaeological find of an authentic 1st-century Roman inscription mentioning the name "Pontius Pilatus". It is contemporary to Pilate's lifetime, and accords with what is known of his reported career.[2][3] In effect, the writing constitutes the earliest surviving record and a contemporaneous evidence for the historical existence of this person; otherwise known from the New Testament, Jewish Literature and brief mentions in retrospective Roman histories, which have themselves survived in still-later copies.
