Traffic Controller says: "Shooters on the runway."

What came across on the police scanner that night is that the "airport tower was reporting that multiple people were running across the runways". The word "shooter" was not used over the scanner.

I found it interesting although not proof that this controller said he was talking to 6people and used "active shooter" as opposed to say "multiple suspects".
