If they were illegals it would be ok. But you can't feed veterans.

Our government's treatment of our veterans is disgraceful, but feeding the homeless gives the homeless less incentive to make changes that would leave them better off. Charity is a good thing, but at a certain point you're making the problem worse.

What we should be looking at is why California has so many homeless people in the first place. I'd wager it comes back to their social welfare and immigration policies.
