A cop buddy and I were chatting this morning about the fact that the upper floor(s) of the Mandalay Bay was occupied by Saudi dignitaries. I've always thought that the amount of guns in Paddock's hotel room were for a gun running thing because it's beyond overkill for a lone gunman attack and Paddock had to know that. My buddy always said it was an assassination attempt. I'm trying to dig up anything to corroborate any of that.
