Neither is a crash course since they are both quite extensive but I would reccomend bill coopers mystery Babylon for the esoteric stuff and Richard grove's peace revolution podcast for the political stuff both are incredibly well researched cooper has a flair for the dramatic but grove is a pretty straight shooter IMO grove is the most in depth and level headed of all the guys that do this stuff
