I also remember thinking of crazy, delusional shit. The whole time I knew I was on drugs, and it was all bullshit, though. I imagine some stupid people probably believe the bullshit, though.

I could see the government pushing opioids to encourage general lassitude, compliance, and acceptance in a population, but nothing as elaborate as mind control. They just don't work that way.

Any conspiracy has several levels of “who benefits.” It’s easy to say pharma’s plots are all about money and profit and nothing else. But at the highest level, control over populations is the key. The money is taken for granted.
