What probability do you estimate that guns will be taken away in mass sometime in 2016?

deathcomesilent

How can they keep it so private? Have they declared it a crime to observe it, or just to enter the land?

I'm just saying, there are tons of quad-copters out there that can haul teli-photo gear. Someone's eventually gonna try it and get locked up.

samtrovaum

Can't have the media exposing the shenanigans now, can we?

Super-Script

What are those buttholes up to now?

Flesh_Mechanic

Yeah, but, unlike the Netherlands, America takes psychotropic drugs for things like their dog dying. People in the west see sadness as something to be cured with a pill. Furthermore, Americas healthcare system isn't for the people, its for the person who can afford the most. Typically doctors will fling drug A at you, and if that doesn't work, move on to B. It's usually in this crap shoot stage where the shootings happen. I've seen how improperly prescribed SSRIs can mess with a person's brain. It's a mental health issue, not a gun control issue. And why would the government want to control it anyways? It's fear. Fear that ultimately helps them take your rights away.

Edit: I say Netherlands because they have some of the highest rates of prescription for these SSRI's and drugs in the world.

CONGLOM-O

Exactly, it's a mental health issue not a gun issue.

Easybee

As someone watching from outside the US, I think taking guns away from Americans would be a good thing. Do you think your ARs and handguns are going to help you take back the government? That window has closed long ago. Losing the guns at this point is the first step toward a much more peaceful society, one without schools getting shot up.

Sorahzahd

You really think guns being in the hands ONLY of criminals and criminal cops who murder people more than actual criminals, is a good idea?

Stop smoking crack.

Easybee

Really? When was the last time you or anyone you knew used a gun to successfully protect themselves against the cops?

But no, I'm the one smoking crack, right?

Flesh_Mechanic

Not really. Nobody legally buys a gun and uses it to kill people. The guns used in crimes are illegally purchased.

OrangeKraken

No. Just no

The only thing keeping the US gov't from completely taking over its own population is the fact that a good portion of it is armed. If you think taking away the only thing that keeps the gov't honest will make people safer you're very naive.

Cute heart string pull with the school shootings though, even though most in recent history has been false flags. You'd make a fine politician

yourhero7

Yeah not quite sure why training 1200 SpecOps people is such a big deal that the media would need to be involved. Ranger school typically has 350+ students, and if you figure on another 100 instructors we're already at 1/3 of that total. And that's something that happens 11 times a year. Seems a lot being made of nothing here.

deathcomesilent

Maybe I'm wrong, but I really kinda doubt they are going through this much trouble to school "students" in the normal sense of the word. This strikes me as high-rank training.

yourhero7

What? They're not schooling students with this particular training, they're doing in depth training for some of the most advanced operatives in the world. I mentioned Ranger School only as an example for scale purposes.

deathcomesilent

Fair enough.

Flesh_Mechanic

Kinda wrong. ITS TEXAS we're talking about! TUKRRJERBS and all that. Of course it's an invasion of the sovereignty of Texas, amirite? /s
