yes.

C'MON NOW!!! They only do it to extract information for the DNC to use to rig elections. Why are all of the DNC’s big politicians and financiers turning out to be Pedes, sex abusers, covert homosexuals, felony stock market manipulators and criminal-type people?

I have removed all Facebook software from my phone since last November 2016. I noticed my battery lasts a lot longer too.

Atsuki

Did you do a full software wipe? Mine is still factory and can't delete the set in apps like Twitter.

Shinsha

This app is very helpful in setting permissions and disabling apps... also sharing them with others.

Download App Analyzer Android Application now : (Google Play URL : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.booknara.android.apps.appinfo) )

Shinsha

I have a LG v20, even though the software comes as stock it still allows me to uninstall it. Those that won't allow me to uninstall I am still able to remove all privileges and disable those apps. Just make sure you get all of the fb related apps. There are at least two, possibly even three of them now working together.

Atsuki

Ah, ok! I have a LG G3, might be too old for some of that. Do you like the v20?

Shinsha

Love it... But the next upgrades will be a toss up between LG v?? and the Samsung Note ??, because LG has gone over to the non-removable battery trend. This is to prevent your cellphone from ever going off grid fully, and forcing you into more frequent upgrades.

Shinsha

Love it. Removable battery won out over Note 8.... sadly the v30 takes that away. Still I love the features on it and it will make it tough to choose going back to the Samsung Notes.

miballz

Yes they do we all know that already. Why you think fuckerberg is so hated even among normies.

thellama01

just the name "Facebook" is interesting

Sounds like (((They))) just named it and made it what it really is, their expanding book of faces

1337ch

No, godwins law is still true yet cell phones are only getting incrementally more powerful every year. YES they are fucking spying the shit out of you.

Don't ever, I mean ever, install that app on your phone. Also, get a plastic slide view blocker on your personal comp. It can hear everything but at least cannot record actual video. This is also useful protection from war-driving where vehicles try to tap into your system and view through the camera in your personal comp.

Shinsha

I took it one step further and added view blockers on the cameras on my cell phone front and back.

DrunkViking

For Android users there is a free app called Cameraless, that force you to disable it everytime you want to allow you camera to take pictures. When you enable it, not even you can take a picture without disabling it. I dont know about the mic though. "If you arent paranoid, you arent paying attention."

YoHomie

Nope. Facebook doesn't even know I exist, and their app has never been on my phone.

DrunkViking

There is FB ghost profiles , where not you, BUT YOUR FRIENDS that already had your info in their cellphones, their gmailaddressbook, and in their FBaccounts, gave your info away when they signed up to a free service. You are also facetracked if one of your friends took a picture of you an uploaded it. And if your picture was in your friends cellphone as a Contactimage, then you are on FB. When and if you log on, they already have a nice proflie prepared for you with suggestions to friends, and your interest.

" Facebook doesn't even know I exist " You wish.

YoHomie

I did have one of my idiot reletives tag a pic once (I hang with some musicians and they use fb to promote their band and I do a search occasionally through their account for this specific reason). I had him untag it immediately. Other than that one time, I'm clean.

DrunkViking

No, untagged means "once tagged" and you are already in their system. Once they have your image, do you think that because you "untagged" it afterwards that they deleted it. Stupid wishes never comes true. And even if you didnt allow them to tag you, they have done it without your consent and/or knowledge, maybe in an scanned picture from earlier, or a pic that you did not knew they took.

NoBS

They are legally and MORALLY allowed to record your love making in the privacy of corporate headquarters to be and enjoyed by third party. If useful idiots allow Facebook to be installed with ownership permission, then all exhibitionist have the right to sell their security for vanity and ego.

Why is this wrong? You have to AGREE to the terms and conditions to be spied on. It's like voluntary to blackmail for the stupid.

I say this is smart business practice and must be protected as FREE WILL.

submitted

This isn't the type of business practices I appreciate, and I'm not sure i would call that "smart", rather deceptive and malicious since their TOS constantly changes and nobody reads the TOS anyway, while at the same time people generally expect to be respected and this isn't respectful, but yeah, as you stated, people agreed with it in order to install FB, whether they like it or not, they did
