Kurdish Factor in Iranian Protests? ( conspiracy )

submitted 2017-12-31T07:18 by HarlandKornfeld14

I have read an interesting article about the groups involved in the Iranian protests here, however I am looking for details.

In this approach, the United States would pressure the Iranian regime and simultaneously back groups that oppose it-whether the exiled extremist National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), pro-democracy Green Revolution factions, or ethnic minorities within Iran-a strategy advocates often compare to Reagan’s support for civil society groups in the Soviet Union. http://www.moonofalabama.org/2017/12/iran-regime-change-agents-hijack-economic-protests-.html#more

Now I have heard about jihadist activity in (Sunni Arab dominated) Khuzestan, but that's about it. https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-12-30/jihadist-group-blows-oil-pipeline-iran-midst-protests

Now I have noted the activity of the Marxist group MEK in agitating unrest against the Iranian regime. Most have probably heard of the prominence of Marxist groups among the Kurds (PKK) as well. Now there is a significant Kurdish minority in Iran and was wondering if anyone has heard of there being an connection here? Or if this is baseless speculation?

I have heard unsubstantiated claims that Kurds compromise a significant contingent of the protesters, but haven't seen any confirmation.

So I curious what do you guys think?
