Soon humanity can know who these people were and we can all learn much more.

The more research you do the more you realize that our history is nothing more then an agreed upon lie. Its pretty frustrating to deal with since if you even consider bring up the countless giant bone discovery in the past that has been taken by the Smithsonian to never be seen again you're looked at like some kind of insane person.

People will always find excuses like "Oh people then were just retarded then and had no idea what they were!" like it matters. If those giant burial mounds were simply large mammals, they wouldn't be hidden away from the rest of society like they didn't exist.

Keeping is simple, a LOT of shit went down in humanities past that is keep hidden from us. If you keep people unaware of their true origins, they become much easier to control. Don't take my word for it, the research is out there. Remember that belief is the enemy of knowing

Because the people who brought us electricity, steam power, the printing press, and the constitutional republic were all feeble minded ninnies compared to modern man's brilliance, right?

My tendency is to agree with you. For the average non-biologist, it can be very difficult to tell the difference between bones from different animals. It's not unimaginable at all that people mistook bones from mastodons and other extinct megafauna as being from giants. In fact, some people have even proposed that cyclops myths may have been associated with elephant skulls in ancient times-- although the Cyclops has its own symbolic significance, and may not have arisen in folklore because of elephant skulls.

I think that many people really want giants, or biblical Nephilim, to have really existed. Something that big, but unknown to modern archaeology and paleontology, is an enthralling and romantic notion. It actually would be pretty cool if someone found Homo sapiens or hominid fossils that were much larger than one would expect. With that said, however, the actual concrete existence of such "giants" seems very improbable. Not only are there no truly verified skeletal or fossil remains from these organisms, but at a certain level of "giant-ness," one has to also consider biomechanical issues and limitations that might preclude a truly "Giant" hominid.

you guys should check out v/ForbiddenArcheology if this kind of thing interest you :)

Anyone interested in this should look into the 'Smithsonian cover up', in almost all of these cases of giant bones being discovered the Smithsonian Institute comes and takes them away, never to be seen again. There are many more newspaper stories - hundreds in fact, and many photos of people standing next to the skeletons in the museums.

So you're tying this in with what, biblical shit? It is definitely interesting, but as the other user says lolwut
