hired from the neck down, just like the janitors.

teachers haven't thoroughly examined their own curriculum in years. many of you teach what you're handed. and none further or endeavor to add to their own knowledge, independently.

pay great teachers greatly.

So the complaint is that the superintendent got a raise of $38k while the teachers had to deal with increased classroom sizes and no raise. My question is how many teachers work for the school district? And how much do they currently make?

Let's say there are about 160 teachers working there. If the $38k raise was divided evenly among the teachers, then that would translate to a little less than $500 per year in raises for each teacher. If it's more than that, say about 500 teachers in the area, then the raise per teacher becomes less than $100 for the year, which wouldn't realy be worth fussing over. However, if there are only 80 teachers, then I could probably see how the raise would be beneficial at about $900-1000 per year.

While I am skeptical of the complaint being made without knowing info like this, I do agree that she shouldn't be arrested for asking this. If the board couldn't afford to give raises to everybody, then they could have said so.

Superintendents are worthless do nothings in a school district. Pencil pushing twats that could go away tomorrow and nothing would change. Fuck this guy, he doesn't deserve a raise whether it would otherwise go to the teachers or not.

gazillions

What the hell is wrong with people? They should storm the guy's house and throw him on a train out of town. They refuse to mass up and make a stand. They'll go home and lock their own doors instead and wish for it all to get better.

Quit crying, You should see how LAUSD is, you would shit bricks.

PlutoInCapricorn

Probably. I believe you. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't speak up about other things that are wrong, right?

anthonylancer

sad that we have comfortably sat enslaved for so long

Warnos44

Wrong on so many levels. $38k salary increase while teachers haven't had a raise in years yet get additional work every year. If I were in this school district I would try to get all the teachers on board with a strike until something changed. They can't find replacements for all the classrooms that quickly.

Putzmiester

You mean form a teacher's union? Existing (((unions))) won't allow that goy. As a former teacher I can tell you, this kind of shit is the cause of our shitty education system.

Warnos44

Union not necessary. Just determination to have the right thing done. I'm sure the creation of the Union caused the perception that people can't simply band together to get what they want. What were the members of the original tea party thinking ? They needed a union to be more effective. Not.

PlutoInCapricorn

Unions suck. They're just another part in the power hierarchy.

Pretty sure he's a kike . Unless there are any other pale skinned Jeromes in the world.

I love how the site says "Raising the Bar" in the upper left corner. For the working poor (teachers), sure. And, of course, for the executive salaries.

Inb4 "that nigger". Guy could have been a different ethnicity as well.

The real criminals are the people on the board, so don't deflect off that by making it a "race" discussion, thanks.

NoBS

While I agree with your opinion 100%, Inb4's comment has been "censored".

I wish to know only if they are a paid shrill or a nutter.

Problem is we can't investigate if the fucking mods destroy the evidence.

This is why censorship is effective in controlling the "false" narrative.

Not sure if you're serious.
