What don't you guys understand? Obama has like 50 PHDs or something on the Constitution. He is anti-gun. Just because this country can't keep out hundreds of thousands of illegals or just because it can't keep out illegal drugs in amounts so large they must be measured in metric tons, that doesn't mean we can't keep the guns out. But we have to turn in all of our legally owned guns first. Don't you guys get it? As soon as we do that, all the kidnappers, human traffickers and drug dealers will stop bringing guns into the country. The Second Amendment doesn't do shit on its own. What it actually does is codify the right of the American people to destroy the government if the government doesn't hold up its end of the bargain. It's almost a duty to do so. It makes us responsible for ourselves.

Problem is that this government has elevated and field tested the weapons and tactics of war such that weapons currently held by citizens are effectively pea-shooters in comparison. Existing weapons in citizens hands actually keeps the peace and prevents nastiness like antifa from getting out of hand. (Had Obama been successful in removing guns, AntiFa and other rioters would have turned this country into another color revolution.) Existing weapons also make it difficult to convince non-soldiers (e.g. police) to enforce tyrannical laws. Existing weapons also prevent roaming gangs like we've seen in Mexico. In times of emergency, armed citizens keep the peace.

Existing citizen weapons are NOT effective against a modern standing army. You only have to look to Iraq to understand this. Militias (volunteer citizen armies) are no match for a modern army. There is no possibility of revolt if the existing professional military decides it is going to subjugate Americans.

The only real weapons the citizens have against government are the power of the purse (stop producing or refuse to pay taxes), and the power of the pen (convince standing soldiers to help train, fight, and acquire real weapons to over throw the existing system). Also keep in mind that any civil war or revolt openly invites other world powers to step in and subjugate American citizens, so it's a very iffy move.

Which is great but the US citizens are too pussy to use it. You hear people talking about "Obama's reign of tyranny" or some bullshit but did they do anything about it? Did they fuck. The 2nd Amendment is wasted on you.
