It was briefly popular a month ago too. Why is it garbage? Flashy bullshit is exactly what I would expect to see on a map of ongoing cyber attacks. I will admit, I don't know jack shit.

I figured it out guys. 2 reasons for this post and the dozens of others.

The mention of this known honeypot tracker is for:

A: Clyde Lewis' audience and.

B: useless data to sludge through when trying to find info about that island country domain that has a population of zero that was supposedly going off like crazy a couple months back. I can't even remember the domain extension. It had a z in it, help?

That's the one, .bv and its not Bavaria.

Anonymous certainly meant the fallout from greece when they talked about the market, and that norse map is utter shit.

Stop being this dumb.

Conjecture is pure intellect I suppose.

The downside of a connected world is that it has made it easier for other countries to sabotage and steal information without even leaving their own countries. Traffic lights, water networks, electricity grid, the stock market and countless other things we rely on for day-to-day life are all connected by networks. In the wrong hands an attacker can compromise and control these networks, disrupting our everyday lives.

I think we've been engaged in a World War III for a while now with China especially, we just don't know it because the war of tomorrow isn't fought on the battlefield, it is fought via a series of cables we call the Internet. We are all vulnerable.

I think we should all be concerned about what is currently happening with the Jade Helm 15 operation kicking off in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado on July 15th. Something bigger and more real is coming.

The odds of all of these attacks happening independently of one another are roughly 1 in 2 billion. The Chinese have started the war, it will be interesting to see how the US/NSA responds.

COUSCOUS

really? the chinese started the war? If so, that would make it the only war America has either not started or "encouraged" in all of history. lol, the chinese "started" the war.

Decius

Eh, not true. Many script kiddies run scripts that can ping every IP in the world. With a small sized botnet you can do this fairly quickly. This also means you can run little hack scripts that these honeypots pick up. We'll see though. I'm more afraid of what China could actually do to us if they decided to go full scale cyberwar.

Remember the Iran nuclear facility? A cyberattack destroyed it. Think about a targeted cyber attack at our nation's infrastructure. You'd have no power, no water, no anything. Worse than a few DDOS scripts and some shitty PHP vuln scanner

Please let it happen. The dependents will become responsible for themselves or will perish.

People like me would be fine without much infrastructure. But I'd weep for the cities if something like that happened. And people who needed medication every day to survive.
