Having spent a lot of time inside China I can say that this article is a mixture of bullshit an exaggeration. The surveillance that China performs is extreme - extreme to the point that it comes close to resembling what is occurring within the United States. I am not saying that the Chinese are right in any way or letting them off the hook. I am saying that focusing on what is happening half way around the globe and ignoring what is happening right here is just stupid. The USA has more technology, more funding and has essentially given free reign to intelligence agencies and LEO - disregarding the Constitution in the process. In summary: China - guilty! USA - guilty!
