They'll blame it on almost anything, really.

Lol, Jesus Christ.

There is a big problem with Geoengineering - the first part is it messes with the natural pattern, so we cannot correctly decide how much warming or cooling is actually going on through forces of nature, and any impact we may be having as a species. We cannot tell because the truth of this can no longer be determined while geoengineering is warping the data.

Secondly, we cannot tell how effective the geoengineering itself is - how much change is caused by geoengineering, how much is caused by natural changes, how much impact, if any, are we having by reducing our own emissions - and if there is a change because of our emission reductions, or the natural forces - how can that be seen while the geoengineering is warping the data.

Yes, we can use geoengineering to alter the environment, but while we are doing so we are completely blind as to what is really happening otherwise, and that in turn also warps the data on the effectiveness of the geoengineering itself. Block out too much sunlight and you can trigger another ice age. Block out the sunlight and you reduce plant growth planet wide - what about the impact of that on carbon levels?

Let's just stop with the geoengineering for now - how about we do that and take a look to see where we really actually are?
