Also noteworthy: the application was made in the week after the shooting and included expected attendance size (they said 500,000) and such finely tuned details as having “student speakers, musical performers, guest speakers and video tributes,” according to the permit application, with 14 Jumbotrons and 2,000 chairs. Add that to the GoFundme that was set up on the day after, BEFORE blood donations were even asked for, and yes, it stinks to high heaven.

We need some FOIA from a better source before this can be trusted. I believe it is possible for sure that some other communist march was planned, but it would sure help our cause if we could get a legit source for it.

I agree. If this can be properly and openly sourced it is without question the straw that breaks the camels back on this one. If someone clears a FOIA request on this; or even just takes it a step forward to get a co-source or overall more viable sourcing, it will be easy to bustwide open. Efforts are elsewhere until that point.
