I had an epiphany and made a simple research about the best recent movies that explain how corrupted society is exterminating unaware people. The scary facts show that the movies that explain the dangers were watched only by a tiny minority.

City Hall (1996) - Budget: $40 000 000 / Earning: $20 340 204

Sicko (2007) - Budget: $9 000 000 / Earning: $24 540 079

As you can see, these movies were made in different time periods. This means that the public interest remains low constantly. Also, all these are quality movies, which means that the low interest cannot be blamed on low quality. In conclusion, this data clearly shows that the majority of population are demented assholes, therefore the elite can do whatever they wish. As far as I see, the only option to stay safe for smart people is to get shelter in a place away from populated areas and get weapons.

If you are good at math, it would be helpful to calculate how many % of american population saw the movies listed above, compared to blockbusters such as Star Wars, Transformers and Marvel.

You could do similar math I guess by comparing Reddit daily visits vs Voat daily visits.

In fact statistics are showing that average intelligence is falling. So it's not going to get any better from that standpoint. When the state provides everything; food, shelter, entertainment, then intelligence becomes a less valued commodity, and the averages start to plummet. At some point I guess we will reach a critical point of unsustainability, and then more evolutionary processes take over, where intelligence could again become valuable. Until then..buckle up :-/

Well, the intelligent people already know of the majority of those issues so watching a movie about it isn't very useful. Watching a lot of explosions however, is at least somewhat entertaining compared to the average life experience.
