Note that this is reported defensive gun use. The number of times people have drawn weapons, had the bad guys run off, and then never reported it to the police because they didn't want trouble, are likely a few times that amount.

The CDC should read their classified papers on zombie outbreaks and rethink its position regarding guns.

Orfion

The CDC is not allowed to research guns by law so I have a hard time believing this. Data or it didn't happen.

dried_up_mantis

Link to CDC data? How do we know this is true?

JohnGoodman

Because this is the one stat anyone can point to that shows guns do more good than bad. And we can’t have that now can we

fuckingmockies

Why is the CDC researching that at all? Department of Agriculture probably isn't studying highway fatalities. Why should the Center for Disease control care about firearms, crime, etc?

peacegnome

I think the idea is that the FBI/DOJ/etc. only deal with crimes, and there is no department of death, so where would statistics for all death be tabulated? I guess they chose "disease control" to be that place. Funny enough, I think that they also deal with some of the highway fatalities data as well.

liberal insanity:

hey jew buddies, even actually killing the kids isn't working to get the guns away from the goyim, let's try to get the CDC to study gun use as a (((communicable disease))) and see what sticks

Perhaps they have the right people who will reach the correct conclusion.
