Note: The number 22 is prominent in this list. In Cheiro's Book of Numbers, the number 22 indicates "a good man blinded by the folly of others, with a knapsack on his back full of errors. It is a warning of illusion and delusion, a good person who lives in a fool's paradise; a dreamer of dreams who awakens only when surrounded by danger. It is also a number of false judgement owing to the influence of others."

I took the trouble to download Cheiro's Book of Numbers . The author, Cheiro (whomever he may have been) has applied the symbolism of the Tarot trumps to the the numbers from 10 to 22, and has placed the trump The Fool in the 22nd position. There seems to be no reason whatsoever, symbolical or otherwise, for doing so, other than that it made it easier for Cheiro to come up with the descriptions to associate with these numbers. See p. 80 of Cheiro's book.
