Depends on the author, who you didn’t post. The Bhagavad Gita (in this case, 1:41) was as prescient as it was reactionary.

Out of the corruption of women proceeds the corruption of races; out of the corruption of races, the loss of memory; out of the loss of memory, the loss of understanding; and out of this all evil.

reactionary maybe at one time, to chart the karmic cycle tempered with the knowledge imparted from this "reaction". Not a bad step, am I right ?

The Bhagavad Gita was written thousands of years ago and is still correct. Society we would today consider “traditional” is the only way to maintain a civilization.
