It's probably a given that the Trump admin is putting pressure on Ecuador to silence Julian. This is a mystery to a lot of Americans but assuming it IS our govt wanting him quiet I can think of one good reason for this. Pres Trump works very closely with our military and both Gen Mattis and Donald Trump are very familiar with Sun Tzu's The Art of War. Julian might inadvertently leak something that compromises plans or strategies of Pres Trump. This spring and summer are not going to be pretty in this country.
